New Lyrical Imprints


May 14, 2015: Kensington Publishing Corp., America’s Independent Publisher, announces the addition of two new sub-imprints to its digital-first line, Lyrical Press. Lyrical Shine will focus on contemporary romance and Lyrical Underground will include thriller, mystery, and horror titles.

The sub-imprint announcement will be made by Kensington at this year’s Romantic Times Book Convention in Dallas, TX.

Lyrical Press is Kensington’s digital-first imprint, and publisher of New York Times bestselling authors Rebecca Zanetti and Lynn Cahoon. Lyrical was developed as a place to launch edgy, new authors as well as to give Kensington’s more established and bestselling authors a platform to experiment with new stories, series, and genres. Lyrical Press is dedicated to growing author readership with lower pricing and great marketing and publicity exposure, while also building the most successful among them to a level that can also support traditional print formats.
Currently, Lyrical Press, Lyrical Shine and Lyrical Underground are looking to acquire innovative new fiction in all romance genres (especially suspense and stories with unique settings), compelling psychological fiction and thrillers, women’s fiction, YA, new adult, and cozy mysteries.
